Digital Rights Management (DRM) is close to the edge of a collision with its opponents. There are some who feel that the concept behind DRM infringes on a persons property rights (after all, once they buy it, it is theirs) and that users could be prosecuted for things that most of society currently views as normal behavior. However, DRM protects the rights of those who create an art, whether it be music, movies, or writing. Those who sell their work put a price on each item based on the overall profit they plan to gain.
