AegisDRM's LicenseMaster allows you, the software provider or reseller to protect your software and allow customers to activate their software with a a unique 25 digit code using an interface with the same look and feel as a standard Microsoft product activation. However each each installation is logged and code can only be used once, after which it is marked as used in the LicenseMaster database and cannot be used again. (The registration is recorded in unique encrypted form on the user's computer so that the system does not have to re-check after registration unless it is a time limited license).

It is provided to software designers as a small ActiveX control that can be added to any application that you want to protect; Integration with existing software typically takes just a few minutes.
